I've just got to keep reminding myself that I only have 4 months to go. Since I'm registering for classes on Friday, it's not that difficult of a goal to keep in mind. However, when my parents and I are fighting, 4 months seems like forever. But I'm not going to get into that. I'm going to be happy, so I'm not going to dwell.
And speaking of being happy, I did something that will make me smile for a long time. I pierced my own ear. Towards the top, through the cartilage. By myself last night with a needle. It's something my father told me expressly not to do, so of course I had to do it anyway. I'll have to hide it till it heals, but it looks amazing.
Elizabeth told me to take control. That's exactly what I intend to do.
